Japanese manufacturers have to focus entirely on the production of 250cc sportbikes latter years, the only remaining Kawasaki bike manufacturer with such an engine for sale today for the U.S. market. The smart choice was to continue to produce and yet the improvement of this icon, and so he managed to dominate the U.S. market in the given category.
With a perfect blend of rider-friendly engine, easy to use chassis, and modern pattern, this is a true companion on your way to Ninja ever larger engines, such as the ZX-6R and ZX-10R.
Top Sport Bike riders who prefer to use the street often face a gap between the 125cc motorcycles and pint-use motorcycles, which are indeed great for beginners, but can sometimes be far more riders than expected.
Kawasaki noticed this problem more than twenty years ago and the immediate action taken. The result was the introduction of the EX250, a model that ensured that no gap is found in Kawasaki s lineup of sport bike time.
As it did the job properly, the EX250 was created without major modifications.
With a responsive 250cc twin cyl. engine, comfortable riding position and superb fairing, this model sold like no other connected a solid brick of the inheritance to the foundation of modern sports bikes 250cc Kawasaki.
Now the same machine known as the Kawasaki Ninja 250R and has the same frame, engine and general (with the exception of larger wheels and a more modern dress) of the bike that started it all.
What really determines the 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, the various cockpit and windscreen not only look great, but provide an improved wind protection for a wide range of driving situations. The Japanese manufacturer made sure that the cockpit would be asked about the larger Ninja motorcycles, and it did. The result was fit and finish of striking full body fairing.
Further strengthening of the Supersport look is the dual-lamp lighting design, slim tail, hood and separate seats. Once properly placed, the front bonnet and windscreen offer the rider an adequate amount of protection against wind, so the trip would not not be disturbed by factors such as wind.
When it comes to color, the Kawasaki Ninja 250R is a reminder of the machines are asked to dress. Lime Green and Ebony usually cover ZX-10R s cockpit while Candy Plasma Blue is available at you guessed it, ZX-6R. Red is characteristic of Kawasaki sport bikes so it was a must on the Ninja 250R, too.

As if the Ninja SPD excellent power and it was not enough, its rider will also be amazed by the nearly 70 mpg average gas economy.
Like its bigger sibling, the Ninja 250R sportbike features an aerodynamic full fairing, Kawasaki Uni-Trak s progressive rear suspension components and high-performance disc brakes. It also has a low seat height for added confidence when stopped. Others also an easy to read instrument panel, positive neutral finder, centerstand and pop-up bungee hooks.

Kawasaki will keep redesigning it with the future trends of larger Super Sports models of the green manufacturer. First thing first, the 249cc, four-stroke, liquid cooled, DOHC, parallel twin was built to rev high, strong and healthy, most importantly, for the last decades. Fed by two CVK30 Keihin carburetors and linked to a six-speed transmission now sounds like the solution to remaining a strong player in the market, but smaller and smaller engines are starting to get fuel injection and that is one thing likely to happen in this case Kawi. So history has less and less likely to repeat itself as stricter and stricter emission regulations will decide to upgrade the 250cc Kawasaki Ninja.
The frame remains the same for 2009 and will probably do well on future model years. Although made of steel, the frame ISN t that heavy and offers good resistance so that it complies with the conditions, the structure of the Kawasaki Ninja 250R. The suspensions were inspired by the 250R and big brothers and sisters, so we re-create with a 37mm inverted fork offer four.7 inches of travel and adjustable preload Uni-Trak rear suspension with 5.1 inches of travel.
Binders with petal-style disc (a single 290mm front and 220mm rear one, two works with two-piston calipers), the 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250R is almost complete and fully equipped as the name implies. But another advantage that doesn t come with the default name is the driving position to ensure that both beginners and experienced riders on the bike easy place to find and stay there for quite a long time.
The last time the entry-handle sport bike market is populated by more than just user-friendly motorcycle with a rider and conditional roles in evolution, but engines for flashing their riders after long experience and that is where the Ninja 250R was the best in 2008 and even before.
You get the same competitive conditions and light nose, the same six-spoke wheels and tent. It would have been nice to see that muffler mounted under the engine to both a lower center of gravity and a more compact look, but apparently, they go for the classic, shiny sport bike exh probably because the entire cockpit did not allow .
It seems that Kawasaki succeeded in their goal of updating the bicycle and the visual aspect, the first thing you notice, that to reach and even harder now with the special edition model.
